Keep feet dry and prevent blisters with waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX to wick away moisture and prevent it from coming in. With 1.4 billion+ pores per square centimeter, water vapor can be wicked away to evaporate so feet stay dry and comfortable.
Hydromax™
ECCO has created exceptional water resistant leather. Hydromax™ is the generic name given to ECCO leather with high water resistant properties. The hydrophobic compound generated as part of the tanning process is distributed throughout the leather structure, not just a surface effect. These leathers are also characterized by a low water uptake in wet conditions.
Receptor® Technology
The Performance collection powered by Receptor® Technology mirrors human motion and the foot's sensory nerve-ending cells, or receptors. YAK
ECCO is one of the first major shoe companies to use Yak leather. Yak leather is three times stronger than normal cow hide. Since Yak is so much stronger, it allows us to make shoes with lighter, thinner uppers that provide more breathability and excellent climate control.

EPR – ECCO Performance Rubber
EPR has three core traits: it’s grippier than ordinary rubber, it’s extra durable and it delivers superior traction on wet and icy surfaces. Expect a high level of flexibility, durability and comfort. EPR is Lab tested with SATRA certified test methods.
Warm lining
ECCO uses both synthetic and real wool linings to provide extra cushioning, warm and cold insulation. Mainly used in winter boots for men, women and children.
Direct-inject technology
Gain a lightweight but strong outsole. Lightweight and flexible direct inject technology provides superior cushioning, stability and comfort; enjoy the watertight seal but maintain flexibility due to a sole that’s built without glue or stitching to be durable, cushioning, and long-lasting.
Polyurethane (PU)
Enjoy high shock absorption with minimal thickness. Polyurethane is a chameleon-like material that supports the foot with supple flexibility and variable hardness depending on the application. ECCO can make it soft for midsoles or durable for outsoles-but always count on it to be light, provide stability, and give foothold to a great walking experience.
